CME TAT 2006 conference program has been appraised and approved by the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) and the Accreditation Council of Oncology in Europe (ACOE). ESMO has designed a credit point system for CME for medical oncologists in Europe, called ESMO Medical Oncologists Recertification Approval (ESMO-MORA). TAT 2006 has been awarded 18 ESMO-MORA Category 1 points. TAT 2006 has been designated for a maximum of 18 hours of European CME Credits by ACOE. ACOE accreditation is endorsed by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). The latter is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). These credits are also recognized as Physicians Recognition Award (AMA PRA Category 1 credits) by the American Medical Association. To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA Category 1 credit, contact the AMA. Certificates of attendance valid for CME credits will only be provided during the TAT 2006 meeting and will not be mailed afterwards. For further information on ESMO MORA and ACOE accreditation, please visit www.esmo.org and www.acoe.be, respectively. |
